About the event
We invite you to join us in commemorating the life of Miles Hall at our virtual "Say His Name" event on Wednesday, May 31st This special free virtual event is how we're marking Miles' 4th Angelversary.
On June 2, 2019 Miles was killed by Walnut Creek, CA police during a mental health crisis. Miles' was a bright, creative, and kind soul taken too soon. He had his whole life ahead of him. This year to celebrate Miles and the positive change happening in his name though The Miles Hall Foundation, we'll be be highlighting the power of art, music, and creativity in creating change in the world and helping end the stigma and criminalization often surrounding mental health and mental illness.
Original works inspired by Miles' life and the activism and the change made in his name will be showcased, along with resources for mental health and creative expression in the Bay Area and beyond!
