About the event

Join us for an important virtual event from The Miles Hall Foundation:

Connected for Care: What BIPOC Families Should Know Before a Mental Health Crisis.

Too often, Black families and other communities of color are forced to navigate mental health crises in systems that criminalize, escalate, and harm our loved ones instead of meeting them with care. This conversation is about making sure families have information, support, and practical tools before a crisis happens.

Hosted by Taun Hall, Founder and Executive Director of The Miles Hall Foundation, this conversation will bring together lived experience, clinical expertise, and community-based resources to help families feel more prepared, supported, and empowered.

Taun will be joined by Rayshell Chambers, Founder and Executive Director of Painted Brian, and Dr. Gabrielle Jones, Ph.D., licensed psychologist and Founder and CEO of Steady LLC and vice chair of The Miles Hall Foundation's board of directors.

Tuesday, July 28

5:00–6:15 PM PST

Virtual | Free  | Pre-registration required

We know that mental health crises should never be met with police violence. They should be met with compassion, care, culturally rooted support, and real community-based resources.
